When Doug Myers designed and built his first landscape in 1994, he set out to design and install beautiful landscapes that would last. Over 25 years later, he and his team at Fernhill constantly strive to improve the original vision. Landscape Design
We are passionate about the value of good design. No cookie cutters. No templates. Each design will be singular and unique to you. We will listen carefully and ask the right questions to determine what a beautiful garden means to you. Once we understand your needs, including your price range, we will create your design. Depending on your needs, we use a combination of conceptual sketches, CAD renderings and 3D animation to walk you through the project, ensuring everything is just right.

Once your plan is in place, we will carefully prepare a specific proposal for the installation. During installation, we'll touch base with you on a regular basis. Our skilled in house installation team and allied craftsmen will work closely with the designer to transform your landscape design into reality. Our garden care team allows you to enjoy your garden without worrying about its maintenance. We will respectfully come and go, ensuring your garden receives the proper care it deserves, so it will effortlessly look it's best through all seasons and for years to come. Doug Myers is a certified member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and a graduate of Shippensburg University. After graduating from Shippensburg, he continued his studies in Environmental Landscape Design at Delaware Valley College and American Literature at New York University. Extensive travels through the states and the world have informed his ideas about garden design and the organic connection between the home and the garden. His design work has received numerous awards and has been featured in several publications.
